What "approved" and "verified" mean on JobLyne, and what to check on a company's profile before you apply.
On JobLyne, every employer that posts is reviewed by our team first, and some go a step further and prove they own their website. Knowing the difference helps you judge a listing quickly and avoid fake recruiters.

Approved and verified, explained
Approved: a company or recruitment agency that submitted its details and documents and was reviewed by our team before it could post jobs or search candidates. Every employer posting on JobLyne is approved.
Verified: an approved company that also proved it owns its website domain, with a DNS record, a meta tag or an uploaded file. These companies show a verified badge on their public profile.
Read the company profile before you apply
Each employer has a public page at /companies/@username with its website, locations, size and open roles. Check that the website matches the company you think you're applying to.
Several openings from one employer sit on the same profile, so you can see whether salary, work mode and seniority look consistent across roles.
Know where each listing comes from
Most jobs on JobLyne are posted directly by approved employers, and your application goes straight to their hiring team. We also list selected openings from the government's National Career Service (NCS); our team reviews each one before it's published, and you apply for those on the NCS site.
When you find an employer you like, save their roles and set job alerts so you hear about new openings early.
Common questions
Can companies post jobs without being approved?
No. Every company and agency is reviewed by our team before it can post. The verified badge is an extra step on top of approval, not a requirement to post.
Where do I report a suspicious listing?
Email [email protected] with the job link and what looked wrong, and our team will look into it.
