Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with 0–1 year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of business analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, and data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, and other departments to understand business needs, document requirements, analyze processes, and support the delivery of effective business solutions.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and functional requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Create BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Work with development and QA teams to clarify requirements.
- Participate in meetings, requirement discussions, and project planning.
- Perform basic data analysis and prepare reports.
- Track requirements and help ensure project deliverables meet business expectations.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and requirement validation.
- Maintain clear and organized project documentation.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of experience in Business Analysis or a related role.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of software development processes.
- Familiarity with requirements gathering and documentation.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL or basic database concepts.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project-management tools.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Basic knowledge of Power BI or other data-visualization tools.
- Internship or academic project experience in Business Analysis is a plus.
