Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Consultant/Architect to join our Finance Analytics team and support analytics solutions for a global manufacturing client. The role involves designing enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, translating business requirements into scalable analytics solutions, and architecting data models, semantic layers, and security frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing.
Responsibilities
- Design and build enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Translate business requirements into scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
- Design and maintain data models and semantic layers.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and other data security frameworks.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
- Partner with data engineering teams to develop reliable data solutions.-
- Ensure Power BI solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
- Support finance and reporting analytics initiatives for a global manufacturing client.
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience
- Strong hands-on Power BI experience
- Power BI dashboard and report development
- Advanced DAX
- SQL
- Data Modeling
- Data Warehousing
- Row-Level Security (RLS)
- Stakeholder Management
- Experience with Azure/AWS/GCP
- Strong business/finance analytics understanding
Preferred qualifications
- Snowflake
- dbt
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Agile methodology experience
- Finance/reporting analytics background
